Take a 4-inch long ginger. Rinse it well and slice it without peeling. Now take 4 cups of water in a pot and add ginger, 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 star anise and bring it to boil. Now keep it aside for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture in a cup and mix 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar and juice of half a lemon.
