The court has said that the custody of the accused is not enough, he should be arrested immediately. The court has asked the state government to submit progress report till May 2. On Thursday, the High Court had taken a stern stand in the matter, without taking action against the accused MLA, that he would be forced to mention his order in the state to smash the law system. After a detailed hearing in this matter, the court said that he will order his order on Friday. The Advocate General present in the court told the Chief Justice DB Bhonsle and Justice Sunit Kumar, hearing the matter, that an application was sent to the Chief Minister’s Office on August 17, 2017, in which allegations of rape against the MLA were made. This application was forwarded to the concerned officers in Unnao for proper action. On this, the bench asked what else was done in this case. Have there been any arrest till now?
